Life In The Word Part 5.
The Holy Spirit said "this thing will I have you add to it, that grace will be given to the readers and wisdom bestowed on them that reading they will understand and break forth in all directions".
Many a time, we confuse the word of God with words in this world. Beautiful soul, beautiful heart embedded in this imperfect body (the reason why this body must be buried and our souls and spirit ascend to Heaven or descend to hell). It is not the imperfection of God but the introduction of the very sin that drove man out of the garden of Eden (man's rest and God's paradise for man). David was not dressed up, decorated and put on a show to Prophet Samuel, He was about His father's work inside the bush (tearing the mouth of lions and freeing any sheep that was in danger of impending/sudden death) and God who searches the heart of man located Him not for His very obvious makeup but for the beauty that comes from a golden heart, a heart that pants for service and faith in the works of Almighty God. The same reason David was very bold to speak up when an uncircumcised Philistine was defaming and insulting God's people. David had no fear for His life nor was He even counting/weighing His words when He spoke (every ear that heard Him was even afraid from the Israelite's camp for example King Saul and His brothers tried to shut Him up telling Him that He was untrained and but a little boy). The devil becomes afraid when we know who we are, though he will/may not physically show it. This is a spiritual warfare and we must understand this too. We can only fight in the spirit with all our weapons of warfare like Jesus Christ. Before Christ, Abraham the father of faith, Moses, Elijah and several others were sent but notice that Jesus was the fulfillment of all prophecies by every prophet before Him. Looking at the life of Moses, He was a stutterer or stammerer, hot tempered, impatient, quick to act (made him to become a day time murderer), inquisitive, wise, raised as royalty, drawn out of the Nile, restored miraculously and easy to be angry (James 1:19). Now God chose Him in-spite of all these very obvious character traits to return to where He was wanted for a murder/crime He committed in broad daylight. And God made Him a God unto Pharaoh and His brother to be His priest. Emphasis on the very scene where Moses came into judgement by God. Moses disobeyed God and called Israel stiff-necked people. Knowing the mind of God; that He loves His creation, this was never overlooked and it cost Moses his life here on earth. His assignment could not progress instead He had to hand over the leadership to Joshua. Every-time a man begins to be weary in well doing, God replaces them, because His work must be completed (Joshua 1:1-9). Read previous parts to fully understand this part and scriptures too.
Reflection: Any good/caring mother or parent (some parents don't care), when you tell them what is obvious about their child's bad behavior, even when they acknowledge that its true, when you are gone, if you are not careful they don't want to see you again or have anything to do with you especially if you did it spitefully or you laid too much emphasis on the issues with the child instead of begging on their behalf or telling them what could be the possible solution though either ways you can become the enemy instead of the victim. God had plans to redeem Israel and all mankind from the devil and it was painful to see the great misleading and eternal death of many souls. God was always pleased when anyone would pray and obey Him. God didn't need anyone to curse or tell Him what was obvious about His children (Jeremiah 17:1-18). Jesus came to remove yokes that Moses allowed the people to divorce because of their stubbornness which made them heavily burdened and offering sacrifices that they don't even know if the priest would die on His mission to pacify God concerning them if any mistakes is done inside the hollies of hollies. This was not fully Moses undoing as Israel had their many faults though loved specially by God because they were covenant children/seed of Abraham.This amendment removed all of these circumcision, sacrifices and outward purification that deceived others, to a pure beautiful heart, soul and spirit that only God is qualified to judge because He is all knowing and Jesus, the only pure and Holy high priest who has taken all our sins ahead of time (the spiritual transaction that was sealed forever years ago on the cross by Jesus blood).
Task: Now after Christ, nothing unclean, no matter who you are would be allowed into Heaven. Jesus is the only model which me and you will be justified and judged by. Do not be deceived, anyone who is not modeled after Jesus Christ, "do not follow" #FollowChristAsHeFollowsGod. Its like my Irish potatoes experience; whatever species of it (Idaho, russets, white and so on) brush it clean with an Irish potatoes hard brush, boil in water with salt and pill the back to eat just that easy. But it took me over three years to realize this and today as I applied this, see what God was telling me; 1)You didn't know how to use the brush but asked, 2)You didn't understand so you kept the brush in your house for over three years unused, peeling all the boiled Irish potatoes you cook and sometimes you don't feel like buying it because of the work involved except you want to fry it which you like a lot (suffering in ignorance and on-applied knowledge), 3) You now had opportunity to use/apply your knowledge and you did, you brushed the back of the Irish potato's back and boiled it with water, 4) You wanted to ignore and just use knife to peel it as usual but out of curiosity you started peeling the back of the Irish potato with your bare hands and the back came off effortlessly with no waste of any kind, What an amazement. You can try this out if you get the brush from the shop ad see for yourself. Jesus washes us completely clean and we are immersed in His blood but we need to get baptized in water and spirit, get the word in so we can believe in God and begin to grow our faith and as we do this, the cleaned skin falls off by the touch of the Holy Spirit (the purifier and who helps our infirmities) and we become truly perfect like God. And this is when we are sure that we are perfectly ready to get into Heaven, it doesn't matter how long you got the word in your heart like when I got the brush into my kitchen/home. A lot of Believers/Christians stop at this point and say after all I have received Jesus Christ, yet nothing has happened ever since. Its because you have not applied the word of God to the right area of your life to see the desired result of perfection. If God said we should be holy as Him then its 100% accurate and very true since God can not lie to us. You didn't know Jesus then you either asked or you were told and then you agreed and invited Him into your life and kept Him right there to go about your usual way of life, no change nothing and sometimes you have even forgotten that you are a born again Christian ( 2 Peter 1:5-9) and so the hardship of peeling Irish potatoes before cooking or frying is still tormenting your dear supposed glorious and blessed life. Enough is enough to ignorance and torments. Go in there and get your brush dusted and begin to apply it to your life (the word, Jesus and Tree of Life). He is very much alive and wants to transform you and let the purifier (Holy Spirit) get the back peeled off you to reveal the real you, the glorious you and the blessed you to your world/generations.
Prayer: Father, empower me to study your word and let the word become real in my life, Holy Spirit work through me to transform my sinful nature into your very holy nature in Jesus mighty name Amen.
