"There Is No Fear In God" - 2 Timothy 1:7; Mark 5:25-34,36 & 9:23; 1 John 4:18 & 5:4; Proverbs 31:10-31; Hebrews 11:6; Galatians 3:29; Luke 17:11-19; Matthew 15:26-28; Revelations 5:12; 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Every believer must have Faith in God.

Life In The Word Part 6.

Faith works through Love and by hope.
Faith loves and knows God & His Word.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" - 2 Timothy 1:7. Fear not or do not be afraid (depends on the translation) was mentioned 365 times in the bible. Imagine God repeatedly reminding us about this. Faith appears 336 times in the King James Version. Other bible versions have varying counts: Faith appears 458 times in the New International Version, 389 in the New King James Version, 378 in the New American Standard Bible and 521 in the Good News Bible (GNB). Who then gives fear if God didn't give us? The devil. What did God give us? Power, love and sound mind. So why will God give us what is not in Him? He didn't. Worrying is meditating on what the devil said instead of meditating on God's word & believing it (faith) and worrying precedes fear. Wao, oh yes! Now fear in "The fear of the Lord, is the beginning of wisdom" doesn't mean the same thing as doubt or worrying, like the widespread misconception, it means "Holy reverence"(Read and meditate on Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 1:7,9:10 & 14:27), note that David reverenced God and He always humbled himself and repented openly without taking account of others thoughts at all (it was all about God). Jesus asked in Mathew 6:27 and Luke 12:25; 'Which of you by taking thought/worrying can add one cubit unto his stature? If God said anything, Jesus wont say something else except to clarify any misconception or amend whatever the laws (Scribes & Pharisees) have twisted it to mean over the years.
'There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love' (1 John 4:18). God is love so if you fear you don't have God in you (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Faith (absolute trust/believe in Love/God) , Hope (expectations/trust in God) & Love (God).
Severally I had written this blog on this topic and the Holy Spirit prevented me from publishing it and at a point I was wondering if I was allowing flesh to set in, then last week through this week, God opened my understanding to Mark 5:25-34 & 36 (read this up as I would extract at different intervals from here) and told me using my spiritual fathers and mothers to minister first to me and as I was seating in the sanctuary at home talking to my husband about it all, the Holy Spirit said now you are ready with the message for your next blog; "There is No Fear in God". Faith is a moving speaking force, absolute trust in God that produces results instantly and very fearless too. You can't talk faith and live out fear, that would be like a hypocrite. This certain woman with the issue of blood for twelve years; 'When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind and touched his garment. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightaway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her plague. She was healed instantly but not whole. Jesus realized virtue ('Dunamis' is a Greek word meaning 'power' - healing, deliverance, breakthrough etc) had left (gone out of) Him, turned around in the press and said, Who touched my clothes? Note that virtue attracts wholeness/completeness; in Proverbs 31:10-31, a woman of virtue (a virtuous woman), you can see what she was supposed to look like or behave like. This woman was far from this, she had completely lost even her identity, she was called 'a certain woman' & 'the woman with an issue of blood'. But this woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and testified (I like to use this word). You can see that even after she was healed, fear was still tormenting her identity in God as a seed of Abraham (heirs according to the promise). She was afraid and trembling before her maker/the promised Messiah/the word made flesh and dwelt amongst us/her healer/her deliverer/her saviour. Overtime she had lost everything to this plague; 'she had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse'.  Jesus spoke up right away, reminding her of who she was (daughter), she was not to be afraid but grow in her faith which made her whole (thy faith made thee whole), He didn't say my anointing made you whole or the virtue that flowed out of me healed you. Then He declared her wholeness/completeness after her testimony of healing ('and be whole of thy plague), with a dispatch of peace-'go in peace' (Shalom - meaning nothing missing, nothing broken, we are one/family/children of promise/heirs of the kingdom/Abraham's seed/covenanted seeds). Jesus was still on His way to the house of the ruler of the synagogue (Jarius) when this miracle took place, Jarius daughter was at the point of death before he sought Jesus, now she was dead but as soon as Jesus heard the word of her death, He said; 'Be not afraid, only believe'. Yes Jesus also woke that twelve years old  daughter of Jarius up, praise God. To Jesus, that little girl was but sleeping. When faith speaks, death/pains/hell is silenced. Glory to God.

Reflection:
Faith dripples, it grows & restores all.
Faith attracts Heaven to earth, builds up, loosens, sets free from every bondage of hell while fear attracts hell to earth, ties down, cuts off heaven's supplies/rights. Faith destroys fear & buries it for good/greatness but fear blocks faith & covers it to release worst/poverty. Faith has great rewards (joy,Heaven,glory,healing,prosperity)/peace/favor with God but fear has punishment/torments (gnashing of teeth, pains, hell). Faith is of God and pleases Him but fear is of the devil and so pleases/delights him too. Faith ascends/lifts/makes whole/energizes/restores but fear descends/depresses/paralyzes/destroys. Faith dripples/flourishes/flows in fountains/blesses/makes alive but fear cripples/shames/disgraces/dries up/withers. Daughter of who? Abraham. Now this daughter of Abraham by covenant had rights to several things as a woman of virtue in Proverbs 31:10-31 outlined, but she was living in bondage/plagued, lost everything including her identity as 'daughter'. Jesus restored her back and reminded her of whom and whose she was. In the ten lepers who were healed in Luke 17:11-19, Jesus said; 'There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?' though He still made him whole after He had returned to give thanks and testified (Jesus always told everyone who used their faith. 'your faith has made you whole' in every nation and everywhere He went'). See Jesus was not just making sounds or talking anyhow, He was specific, He called this Samaritan, 'stranger' and that certain woman 'daughter'. He told the Canaanite woman who wanted her child to be healed of demons, that healing belongs only to children of God (He was sent to the 'lost sheep of Israel') and replied her when He saw her faith,"O woman, great is thy faith:be it unto thee even as thou wilt" and her daughter was made whole from that very hour/instantly (Matthew 15:26-28). If you are a believer, then what do you believe in? If you are a Christian, then whose are you? If you have no faith in God, then why are you even a Christian in the first place? This is what the devil specializes in doing, if he gets you to always doubt God and His word, get worried? Then he has messed up with your glorious mission here on earth, next is it grows into fear and there you are, right in hell on earth (sick, rejected, pained, poor, sorrows, gnashing your teeth, to the extent of been called by your afflictions-'barren woman or childless man, certain woman/man, woman with the issue of blood or afflicted man, jobless woman/man, idle woman/man, gossiper, sick woman/man, beggar woman/man, poor woman/man etc').

Faith has proofs & receives the blessing.
Task: Seat down and ask yourself, "what do I fear or doubt in my life?" Write them all down, then go in scriptures and locate every word of God that said something about it. How do I do this? You can attend bible school like Word Of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) or others, google it or bing it, you can buy Christian books by trusted children of God and read them, you can watch christian websites like www.bvovn.com/watch (24hours daily broadcast on word of God), midweek/Wednesday and Sundays services on www.faithtabernacle.org.ng/mediacenter/ or others, several christian apps (DomiMedia, Believers Voice Of Victory-BVOVN or others too), you can also just look in the bible and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you through. Its this word you will begin to use to build your faith, believe, move by faith, speak it and take/receive all that your rights are in redemption (healing belongs to you. prosperity belongs to you, children/fruit of the womb is God's reward to you, fruitful labor belongs to you, favor belongs to you, wholeness belongs to you, soundness of mind belongs to you, beauty/love/grace/mercy/peace all belongs to you, name them and receive them all in Shalom) Read 2 Timothy 1:7 and Revelations 5:12 (Jesus is the Lamb that was slain to give me and you; 'power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing'). Commit to meditate on God's word today and grow your faith. 1 John 5:4,“For whatsoever is born of God/Love overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

Prayer: Father I accept your power, love and soundness of mind in Jesus Name Amen. I refuse anything else as I commit to grow my faith daily, I exercise my power/authority inline with your word, I live in love, I have your wisdom and I ask that you engrace me to fulfill your purpose in my life on this earthly mission in Jesus Name Amen. Thank you Jesus.
